DISCOVER CENTER POINT

Center Point is a community in southeastern Kerr County, Texas, which was created by German settlers in 1859 and originally named Zanzenberg.  The town became known as Center Point in 1872 because major roads through the area crossed at the center of the community.  By 1900, the town had around 500 inhabitants, churches, schools, a post office, a newspaper, and several establishments catering to the tourist trade.
